Founded by Bosendorfer Artist, author, and educator Josephine Koh, JKPA specializes in quality piano lessons and music theory classes in Bukit Timah, Singapore. With nearly three decades of experience, Josephine Koh is known for her expertise in preparing advanced students for ABRSM piano exams, piano diplomas, performances, college entries and competitions.
Josephine is the Artistic Director of Joyeux Music International, with music qualifications in piano and orchestral conducting from London, Europe and Russia. She has published Practice in Music Theory series and ABRSM alternative examination pieces used internationally. Her teaching approach combines technical precision with artistic sensitivity, fostering well-rounded musicianship in every student.
Piano students at JKPA regularly achieve Distinctions in ABRSM and Trinity exams, and many have gone on to complete Diploma Piano qualifications including ARSM, ATCL, DipABRSM, LRSM, LTCL, FTCL and FRSM. Theory diplomas include AMusTCL and LMusTCL. JKPA is more than a music school—it's a community for passionate learners, guided by one of Singapore’s most experienced and inspiring piano teachers
